Building strong, collaborative nonprofits serving Washington communities

Announcing Washington Nonprofits

In 36 state associations across the country, nonprofit organizations

  • Collaborate to manage and lead more effectively,
  • Increase their impact in their communities,
  • Reduce the cost of doing business
  • Strengthen their collaborative voice on issues that affect their communities as well as their operations

Washington now joins them!

A state association will provide Washington’s over 50,000 nonprofits with better representation in state and federal policy decisions – acting as a knowledgeable resource for elected officials in the process.

According to the University of Washington report Nonprofits in Washington 2009, the number of 501(c)(3)s in Washington State is almost twice as large as the number a decade and a half ago. Assets totaled over $126 billion dollars, and they received more than $36 billion in revenues.

Nonprofits mean business (and jobs) in Washington.

When will you be conducting listening meetings that were going to happen in the spring? We would like to include it in our Whatcom Council of Nonprofits eNews. Thank you.

Yikes…. on your home page of your website Development is spelled with an e. Just thought you might want to know. Love your website and the info it provides at the state level.
    Thanks!
