Thank you to everyone who attended the 2015 Washington State Nonprofit Conference on May 12 &13th. We had record attendance: 714 people over two days.

The conference was filled with insightful and inspiring speakers, thought-provoking conversations and high-energy engagement. We not only talked about shaping the conversation; we practiced it.

Vu Le, Executive Director of Rainer Valley Corps, talked at the lunch plenary about needing to work together better. “We are all ducks on this lake.” he said, “We cannot have labels or divisions. We are all connected in the problems and in the solutions.” Keynote speaker Heather McLeod Grant ended the day with a wonderful speech on new models for social change.

Next year the 2016 Washington State Nonprofit Conference will be held on Monday and Tuesday May 16 & 17th at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. See you there.

"I decided to just take a few moments to let you in on a valuable secret. OARS for Women Veterans has benefited greatly from our membership with Washington Nonprofits. We are able to find resources which can help us grow as an organization. We are growing while staying prudent; we are building networks far into the future. Our Service Women have better lives because of WN."       - Julia Sheriden, Co-Founder and President
